Glad we got that part sorted.

Regarding your home page, it sounds like you'll want to use the "videos page" page template. Here's what you do to get that setup...

1. Create a page and assign the videos page template. You can name this page "home" if that helps.

2. Create video posts with the video post format assigned. Be sure to also provide the Vimeo video ID in the appropriate post options box on the post edit page.

3. Assign the "home" page you created as your front/home page setting. You can do this from your WordPress dashboard by navigating to "settings" > "reading".

thanks Christopher - finally successfully uploaded theme- but I'm having a lot of challenges with the video interface - ....as i've seen possible in several demos - i basically want a full screen main page that will host 9 videos from Vimeo - with full resolution images that i choose (w/ play button in middle) - the user can scroll through backwards and forwards and hit the play button on each piece of media you want to view -

on the side bar menu - i want to have archived video content for : Film | Commercials | Music Videos | Print

and then a "Contact" link either on the bottom footer menu (with resume - bio - and contact page)

also need the existing footer on my current website

C - i've been on the phone with bluehost for an hour already - setting up a new purchased domain +++ for a clean install of wordpress - in hopes this template theme would work - im already pot committed to this "not so user friendly plug n' play" process for 4 hours - if you have anyway to guarantee a quick solution im more than happy to try - please send a version without videos - tx - S

Hi there,

I can confirm there are no issues with the theme (I use bluehost for the demo site). Can you verify that you're uploading the WordPress theme zip only (and not the main download files zip from ThemeForest)?

If you're properly trying to upload the VYSUAL zip file, it's possible you may need to increase your upload size via bluehost. VYSUAL contains some sample videos to help get started, but that increases the size of the file (more so than typical WP themes).
