Hi there,

The videos template you're using on your home page is intended to display background images for the video, not a background video. So when you add featured images, as you should, it will override the background video. This is normal and intended as the video template is not meant to have a background video displayed.

Best,

Christopher

Hi Christopher,

I tried several times, but when I set a featured image (in the posts of type 'video' and having a Vimeo-ID inserted) the background video is overruled or overlayed. You only get the featured images shown. I tried in different orders of setting it up, but no succes.
I allready assumed the 'featured images' should be the solution, but it wouldn't work.

Hope you can reproduce my issue?

Greetings,
Chris

Hi there,

The image you're seeing is the YouTube generated featured image, which doesn't appear to exist. To resolve this issue, upload an image that can be assigned as the "featured image" for the post. This will allow you to control the image that appears while the loading takes place.

More info: http://www.themolitor.com/help/vysual/#featuredImage

Please let me know if that helps.

Best,

Christopher

Hi Molitor,

I have 3 video's that can be 'carrouselled' on the FrontPage (template video page).
If you click the screen it takes some time (1 or 2 seconds)in which the beackground video disappears and a rather ugly screen (grey box with dots) comes up. See http://www.orangelabelfilms.com.

What are the options to get rid of this?
I tried WP Super Cache but this doesn't help.

Thank you in advance.
Chris
