Hi there,

For the "Reviews + Video" page, you need to have (1) published posts with the "quote" post format assigned and (2) published posts with the "video" post format assigned.

More info about post formats here: http://www.themolitor.com/help/vysual/#postoformats

Regarding the same video being shown, it sounds like you have a "sticky"/featured video. Sticky posts will override the most recently published post so that it always shows first. This way you can be in control of what video users see right away.

More info about sticky posts here: http://www.themolitor.com/help/vysual/#featuredPosts

Please let me know if that helps.

Best,

Christopher

I'm having big problems with all the Video pages (and agree with some other posters that more detailed step by step documentation could really be helpful as the functionality and display options between Videos Page, Reviews + Video Page, and Video Posts are not easily understood and require a lot of trial and error.)

That being said, I have published a Reviews +Video Page and set it to be the front page of my site, griefmonomyth.com The review/title text is not displaying. Just a line at the bottom of the page. I tried to see if I had this backwards and that text was supposed to show on Video Pages instead of Review+VIdeo pages so I published the same info to a Videos Page. On that, I just get the title of the post above the line. Right now, my site is set to display the Reviews+Videos page which is just showing the line and no text....again, that's at griefmonomyth.com

More vexing is that the wrong video is being displayed on other pages I try to set up. On brand new Video pages, no matter what embed link I put into the page, it keeps playing the video file and displaying the Reviews+Videos page. At first, I thought maybe it was a caching problem so I started brand new pages with different titles and just grabbed random video to embed from YouTube but they all play the same video - the video on my Reviews+Videos page. (BTW, I'm not using any cache plugins.) Typically in Wordpress, a page is its own page so I don't know what is going on here with how the theme is telling the page to function. Whatever is going on here, its not how things labeled Pages function in the Wordpress codex. I can send you screen shots of the wordpress page setup if you need.
