Hi there,

When you mention the "trailer page", are you referring to the home page? If so, the home page is currently setup to display either your slideshow images or video background. Featured images currently are only used on individual post/pages and on the "Videos" page template.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say videos are "scrolling up and down". Can you provide a direct link to a page where this is occurring? I'll take a look.

Best,

Christopher

Ok. Getting this figured out. For my trailer page, how I can I use a specific static image? right now it's pulling from the images used on the default home page. When I upload a featured image, it doesn't use it.

Hi there,

Themes do not have an option to have content pre-loaded (i.e. create home page, gallery page with pictures, etc.). There is, however, a demo file included for you to use. You had already started the process of creating pages, though, so I didn't suggest that since it's recommended to start off creating your own content...

Home - this is a page that uses the "Video + Reviews" page template. Displays a play button in the middle of the screen for the most recently published video post (i.e. post with the "Video" post format applied) with review posts (i.e. posts with the "Quote" post format applied) in the lower-right corner.

Trailer - are you referring to the main play button on the home page? If so, that is the video for your most recently published video post (or sticky post).

Gallery - page using the "Gallery" page template with images uploaded/attached to the page (i.e. you need to upload images to the page from the page edit screen).

Videos 1 - this is a page template that displays your video posts (i.e. posts with the "video" post format applied).

Videos 2 - this is a standard category page. Category pages display all posts that are assigned to the category. You can add category page links from the menus page in the "Categories" box. NOTE: category pages are not created from the "new page" section. WordPress automatically creates these pages for you.

News - this is a standard category page. See "Videos 2" description for details

Cast & Crew - this is a standard category page. See "Videos 2" description for details

Reviews = these are posts with the "Quote" post format applied. More info: http://www.themolitor.com/help/vysual/#postoformats

Please keep in mind, you purchased a WordPress theme. WordPress themes are just code files that tell WordPress how to display your content. They do NOT contain content. That said, I have included a demo site XML file that can be used to import the demo site content. More info about that here: http://www.themolitor.com/forums/topic/faq-how-do-i-import-demo-content

If you need me to setup your site for you, please submit a request here: http://themolitor.com/custom

Best,

Christopher

I look at the links you send. I spend hours fiddling with them. Not working. Very frustrating.
The home page doesn't do slideshow. No matter when I check the slideshow box. Upload 1200x800 images. Doesn't work. Trailer page doesn't display the featured image I choose.

The synopsis page works! Yay!

Can you tell me what type of page the following should - post or page?
Home
Trailer
Gallery
Videos
News
Cast & Crew
Reviews
News

Or if you could sign in and make it like the demo I purchased, that would be great and save me a lot of time that I've already wasted trying to recreate what I thought I had purchased.

Ok. I guess rather than just being able to start with the complete demo I thought I purchased, I'll need to recreate this a page at a time. Awesome. Let's start with the homepage.

For some reason, there was no default home page when I loaded the theme. So I created a new page. Selected it in reading. Unfortunately, when I use the customize section, even though I upload several pictures, it only shows one. How do I fix that? I can't choose gallery I chose video + quote to make it like the demo.

After I create menu items. Then I create posts or a page, how do i connect the menu items to these? For example, when I click on "Gallery" right now, it says "Nothing Found."
