To remove images from the gallery, you need to delete them. To add images, you need to upload them from the post edit screen.

Sorry for misunderstanding. I giving you steps which I followed.
1. Goto post creation
2. Selected Post format "Gallery" and selected categories
3. By Clicking on Add Media, added 3 images which became gallery images for the post

Now, What should I do to add another 2 images in gallery and remove existing 2 images?
Do I need to delete images from Media ? Or any other options to remove association between gallery image and post?

Sorry, I'm not totally sure I understand. Are you trying to remove images from a gallery? If so, you simply delete them from your media library.

I tried to create gallery post. for that I have uploaded three images and It can be viewed on post on frontend. But what should I do remove/change images which were set as gallery images.

I did not find any option to remove those images. What is process to change those images?

Hi there,

Clicking add media is how you start the process to upload images, but you do NOT need to insert them into the post. Simply upload them and be sure to assign one of the images as your featured image.

how do i view and edit the photos i've included into the gallery post format. I tried including them by clicking on add media in classic mode editor but it just inserts the photo into the post without the thumbnails - not like your demo website. Also when I click into the photo to view it larger how do i click out of it that photo without having to go back on my browser, i do not see an X or close option on the photo just forward or backwards arrow.
