From your comments: 'To control the order of images in the gallery, click the "Add Media" button on the post edit screen and from the "Media Library" tab select the "Uploaded to this post" option in the drop down. You can then click/drag the images into the order you want them to display.'

I realize I do not have the "Uploaded to this post" as I am creating a Page as gallery to make the galleries, I haven't created a Post... so I guess my question is: I should be doing a Page gallery named 'A" with no images added to it, and make a Post named 'A" with the images (via Add media of course)?

Thanks for posting a new thread for this topic!

Can you confirm you selected the "Uploaded to this post" option in the drop down of the add media pop-up window? That is what allows you to control the order by dragging.

Hope your well.

I still don't manage to solve the problem of the Gallery page (s) images and order not updating.

It is not browser cache related (tried many browsers and emptied caches), I'm not using a caching plugin, nor is my server side of things, they were contacted and replied:

"We don't have any caching plugin installed on your server or load balancing server for your account. Have you under firewall or proxy server at your working location? If so, there will be cache in these servers for sure. If not, how can i reproduce your issue on our end? Please advise!"

I even deleted the gallery page, media used in the page, I did an all new gallery page uploading images again, and still order and for example deleting or adding an image to it still won't show.

So I'm back to you, thinking it could be theme related... would appreciate if you have a look at it again...
