Hi there,

1. From the edit page, click "add media".

2. From the pop-up, click the "Upload Files" tab.

3. From the upload tab, click "select files" or simply drag/drop image files from your desktop.

4. That's it! After the upload is complete, the files will be attached to the post and will display in the gallery section.

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Hi Christopher,

Could you send through or post up a print screen of where this 'upload' is for the posts - there is only an insert gallery option in the whole page - does it have to be a certain wordpress version for this?
The only time 'upload' comes up - is if, in fact you press 'add media' to the post, and then you get to an upload window/ media gallery, where you can navigate through creating a gallery, uploading media, or look at the media you've already uploaded.
Having said all this, I still have uploaded the files AGAIN through this window, and nothing changed on the post itself in 'gallery' there were simply two of each seperate image.

Thanks

Hi there,

As mentioned above, the images get attached to the post when they are uploaded from the post edit screen (not INSERTED into the post, just UPLOADED to the post). Once the upload is complete, you're done. The theme automatically detects all the images that have been uploaded from the post edit screen.

Best,

Hiya
Okay- so then how do I attach the images to a new gallery? How do I make a new gallery - so that zoombox is applied to the gallery section of my post?
Could you tell me the steps - if I have the images on my computer, and I want to add them to a post? If I don't use it through the edit page, then where?

Thanks

Hi there,

Just want to clarify, the plugin does not add any content to the page. The plugin only captures image clicks by the user and displays them on the screen. That's it.

If you see anything in the synopsis section, that means you're inserting the content into the post via the edit page in WordPress. The theme's gallery tab automatically grabs images that have been attached/uploaded to the post, so you do NOT need to insert anything into the post content area.

Hope that helps.

Best,

hiya Christopher,

It doesn't work! The gallery comes up in the synopsis, not the 'gallery' and now there are two sets of images in gallery :\
I've uploaded the images into the post, how can you make it show up in the gallery section you've made on the theme, instead of the synopsis?

Thanks so much,

Hi there,

You DO NOT need to insert any images or gallery shortcodes into the page content area. Simply upload them to the post and you're done. The gallery will be created automatically.

Thanks for your reply Christopher,

Unfortunately, after installing the plugin - I can make the gallery, but it shows up in my post in the synopsis / description, not in the gallery section
- is there an easy way around this?

When creating a gallery, I don't use the a href="URL-TO-IMAGE" rel="zoomBox[gallery] code or any codes manually
i just upload them, or insert/ create a gallery from the ones I've already uploaded -
not sure where there is even a place to input a href code?

Could you explain this a bit for me? I'd love to have the sliding images as they show up, when I created a gallery, but not on the synopsis- on the gallery tab

Thanks a bunch

Hi there,

Thanks for following up!

Regarding the gallery images, the default behavior is to open the link in a new page. You need to install a plugin (like my zoomBox plugin included with the theme) to alter this behavior and have images pop-up on the current page.

Hope that helps!

SOLUTION for anyone who wants to change the font SITE-WIDE including HEADINGS and subheadings, descriptions etc
go to the EDITOR section on wordpress dashboard (under APPEARANCE section) on the right there should be headings of which part of the SHEET your on - click on main "style.css" stylesheet.
At the top before anything, even the theme name and the /*
paste this code

{font-family:"Courier New", Courier, monospace}

and adjust it to the font that you want :D
yay

So yeah thanks Christopher, turns out it was easy - thanks for your response, and let me know if you can do anything to help the gallery image link mentioned above !

Hiya Christopher,

Yeah I understand that, but it hasn't really worked - is there not a way you can give me the above code that you supplied in another post for removing the italic, along with a font face code that works with it? I've bought the theme, and I'd love this tiny bit of support so I can launch my site.

Another thing - I have changed my images on my project posts to 'link to media', but they still link to a large file when clicked on, i just want it to enlarge a little bit when clicked within the same page, not for the whole huge file to come up, that opens in a new tab.

I'd really love the font code though, even just for the headings and descriptions - its been days and days of trying everything, none of the codes override your headings -

I'd really appreciate it,

Thank you

Hi there,

When it comes to changing fonts, if you have a font library installed and in use (like google fonts) it's really just a matter of making sure your CSS is being loaded with higher priority than the existing CSS.

Please understand that customizing the theme like this goes beyond my standard support services as it requires research, custom code and testing to effectively implement. For requests like this, I have to ask that you submit a request for custom services here: http://themolitor.com/custom

Hi there - I've looked through the entire forum, and there are parts of the answer, but not the entire answer. I am trying to change the font sitewide, i have googlefonts installed, and it has worked for some, but not for all. Then I've used CSS that you've mentioned in posts for the welcome message - to change the font, and fiddle with it. I've tried to use the other css to change the titles, and the descriptions, and now have managed to do the titles - but only of the main title, not the titles in the projects or anywhere else you see italics - you have input codes like this to solve similar issues before eg - (the one below was to remove the italic on the headings - which works beautifully)

.innerTopPanel > h3,
#welcome h1,
.homeSlide h2.posttitle,
#relatedPost h3,
#relatedPost a.titleLink,
.listing .post h2.posttitle,
.listing .page h2.posttitle,
.post h2.posttitle, .entrytitle {font-style: normal ;

I would like this same code, PLUS a font face/ font type tag that works with it! I've tried many codes, many ways, adding it to the end, to the beginning etc i've even used the 'inspect' css to get the coding right but it doesn't work :(

so to clarify - i want to change FONT and STYLE and just throw any other option in there to customise it for the headings, descriptions, subheadings etc - because googlefonts doesn't override this, nor does regular css, so i think there must be a little detail missing

1) the welcome message/ headings (you've solved this one, can you add this type of css code for the entire headings/ descriptions section?)
2) the project headings
3) the project descriptions
4) the credits (the first line)
5)widget titles / headings

basically all of the parts that use that italic font from the theme - this never seems to be overriden, all i want is to put the DOSIS font instead, and remove italics, and be able to adjust their size and type.

THankyou so much in advance!
My site isn't live yet, so I can't link you
