To clarify #1, I'm using a static page for the home page. It sounds like you're using "latest posts", which will display the site title and tagline instead of the page title and page excerpt.

Unfortunately for security reasons I do not allow users access to my WordPress dashboard for demo sites. I use a single WordPress installation to power 25+ demo sites, which receive a lot of traffic, so I can't afford to have users in there.

1. For the bold text, I'm using <strong> in the excerpt. Here's the raw excerpt for that page...

is there an demo account that I can login to the dashboard and see exactly what the settings are for the preview site?

eg:
Homepage, under "Commercial, Residential and Community Solutions", the award winning text is bold. how do i do that? I tried when entering tagline, with < strong>< /strong> -no space, but this html code showed up as text.

eg.
On location map page, how do I delete the big "leave a reply" button in the middle?
