Hi there,

The navigation bar will apply the same text color you select in the theme options. If you want to customize the color separate from that control, you can add the following to your custom CSS panel on the customize page...

#navigation {background-color:XXXX !important; border-color:XXXX !important;}

Replacing XXXX with the hex value you want for the color.
