Hi there,

That's odd, the resizing is creating an image with dimensions that aren't coded anywhere in the theme. Maybe try using the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin to see if that helps: http://tinyurl.com/7sfaxc

Yes, it makes sense, but the images do not seem proportional ... Even though I use 340px, the image is not displayed in this size. 358 x 198px but

Hi there,

The image size is restricted by the space available on those pages. In other words, changing the image dimensions to 500px will not have any visible impact as the post width does not exceed 350px on those pages.

Does that make sense?

How can I set a specific size for the featured image displayed in the archives/homepage? The picture always appears in the dimensions 340pxx340px, need to change to 500px ...
