maybe I have got this wrong. I have a main category called events and within that category a bunch of child categories such as festivals, but only festivals is showing up in the calendar submission form, unless of course Safari is not updating properly and I am not seeing the changes.

Hi there,

The submission form event type option displays child categories for the main event category you have selected on the customize page.

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Chris

It seems to be following categories already used by live pages, (I removed a category affiliation and it was removed from the submission form), is there a way to fix this as I want some events to have preferred category status, but I do not want that to be an option on my submission form.

Hi Chris,

I am having trouble configuring the "Event Type" on the even submission portion of my site. It has chosen 3 arbitrary categories and i would prefer to use the sub category of another category (in order to select a state/province for an event as I only deal with one type of event).

Thoughts?

Ian
