Hi there,

I'm not totally sure what he did either. That's actually the problem -- I'm unable to troubleshoot edits/customizations like that.

Hi Chris - I'm not asking for support for his plugin...I just need to know what he "commented out" so I can understand whether or not it's going to cause problems with the theme. So far, everything seems to be working just fine so maybe it won't cause any problems? Not sure...please advise. Thanks for your help.

Hi there,

It sounds like he commented out too many scripts. Unfortunately I can't provide support for both his plugin and his removal of required scripts for the theme to function properly. Sorry.

Hi there - I'm redesigning our homepage as a static page with a large slider and I installed the Pro Slider plugin today. This plugin seemed to conflict with something in the theme and wouldn't load and broke the functionality of the triangle slide out. I contacted the developer of the plugin and he was able to fix what was causing the error but recommended I ask you about the code that was causing the problems because he had to "comment it out". Here is his email to me:

"I fixed the theme’s method of including the jQuery library. However, there was still some code that is causing problems. It’s in the theme’s footer.php file, on lines: 90-101. That code is throwing an error on the home page, so I commented it out and now both the slider and the plus sign work. I’m not sure what the code does and where it’s needed so my suggestion is to contact the theme’s author and ask why that code is not throwing errors on the homepage. The author should provide a fix for that problem because an error like that will break other JavaScript functionality."

Here's a link to my test site:

Thanks for your help!
