Ingredients
- 4 cups cold white rice
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/4 of small white onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon finely grated carrot
- 1 sprig greenonion, finely chopped
- 2-3 tablespoons of soy sauce (more to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
- 1 garlic clove pressed through galic press
- 2 tablespoons butter
- salt and pepper to tast
Directions
- In a large nonstick pan, heat oil and add onion, green onion and carrot.
- Saute for two minutes on high heat and add rice, stirring continually.
- When heated thoroughly, move rice to side of pan and add egg and scramble.
- When egg is cooked, stir into rice and add soy sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, seeds, butter ans soy sauce.
