Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups pumpkin puree
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup butter
- ¾ cup white sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon ground cloves
- ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour one 7×3 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, eggs, butter, vanilla and sugars until well blended. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flours, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger. Stir the dry ingredients into the pumpkin mixture until barely blended. Pour into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes in the preheated oven. Bread is done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
