Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter, room temperature
- 1 cup peanut butter, room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Mix butter and peanut butter together until smooth.
- Add sugar and brown sugar and beat until creamy.
- Add eggs and vanilla and blend well.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda and salt together.
- Slowly add dry mixture and mix until combined. Do not over beat.
- Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Scoop the dough, 2 tablespoons at a time and roll into balls.
- Place the balls on prepared baking sheets and press each ball twice with a fork to make a crisscross design. Dip fork in cold water to keep from sticking to dough.
- Bake until golden, approximately 8-10 minutes. I like mine soft and underbake them slightly.
