Hi there,

I honestly haven't tried any lightbox plugins in years (I've been working on my own).

They should all be free to try, so I recommend just giving them all a go and see what works best for you :-)

Best,

Christopher

Hi there,

That's just if you want to show the images full screen. When you click the images initially, they display the full dimensions of the image.

Please keep in mind this is just a plugin that I came up with. There are lots of other lightbox plugins out there you can try for free ;-)

Best,

Christopher

Chris thanks for the answer, unfortunately most pictures of artworks are not 16:9 (not even close). For me it is not an option to size them all. I understand there is no plug in on the market and I have to get used to 16:9 right?

kind regards

Vincent

Hi there,

The ZoomBox plugin does not provide a scroll option. There are two viewing options: (1) zoomed in and (2) zoomed out.

The zoomed out setting will display the image as large as possible without cropping any parts of the image. The zoomed in setting will make the image fill the screen for a more engrossed viewing experience.

Because the zoomed in method is achieved using a background image CSS method, the ability to scroll the image is not a supported feature. For this reason, it is recommended that your images be 16:9 to accommodate the majority of the screens out there.

Hope that explains the setup.

Best,

Christopher

hi Chris, I bought a couple of weeks ago the Curator. It works really fine except for one function. When I open the photo of an artwork I see a magnifying glas to enlarge the picture. When I press the left mouse button the picture enlarge as expected, but I am not able to scroll in the enlarged picture.

In other words, I always zoom on the same part of the picture. How can I move the picture in the frame around, so I am able to view each part of the enlarged (zoomed) picture?

kind regards

Vincent
