I'm noticing other pages on your site load fairly quickly. The loading issue appears to be mainly related to your main page.

The demo site for this theme is loading almost instantly, which indicates this definitely seems to be an issue specific to your site/setup for that main page.

— Have you made edits to your theme files?

— Maybe try deactivating plugins that might be loading only on your home page?

Hi Christopher,
We add images by going to media, attach, select post.
When images are enlarged it is using the post title and not the image title, caption or alttext.
Please have a look: https://www.theflacks.co.za/birds/category/vultures/ (each one of these images have a different title, caption, alt text.)
It is imperative that we sort this out.

The caption should be pulling the caption section from the image file. You can view this on the image edit screen from the media section of your WordPress dashboard.
