I was able to resolve it. It was user error. I had the Opacity on the background image turned off and it was causing it to not appear on the website. All is well now. Thanks for your prompt response to the matter.

Okay, thats cool. I uploaded my own image and it just flashes for a second then fades away. How would I make the image stay until the video is played? I used the Video template in posts and set featured image. URL is chophousedigitalmedia.com

Yes, but it's recommended that you upload your own image as the approach provided by Vimeo doesn't work 100% of the time.

Would it be possible for me to use a image from a Vimeo video rather than assigning an image to a post? For example, if I create a post with a Vimeo link, could that still image I assign to it in Vimeo be used instead of uploading a different image? Thanks.

It's working now. Before all I saw was a poster image...

The issue is related to (1) no featured image assigned and (2) the video image container being hidden.

Address those two items and let me know if you have any issues.

Hmmm, not sure what to do then. I'm clicking on the link in this post and it's taking me to my site with the VYSUAL theme. I am logged out of wordpress. I also tied it on my phone and it worked. Can you please try again or tell me where they link is taking you?

Hi, Thanks for the suggestion. I tried this and it effected it, but now I have the featured image popping up full screen in place of the header image momentarily while a new page is loading. I guess my question is, is there a way that no image can pop up in between pages loading. It doesn't do this all the time so something seems to be not going right.

Hi there,

This image usually shows up when a thumbnail from YouTube is not available. The YouTube thumbnails are used when you do not have a featured image assigned to your posts.

My suggestion is to make sure your video posts have a featured image assigned. That should fix it up.

Hi,

I'm setting up your Vysual theme and as I click from page to page I'm seeing this grey YouTube no image icon. It momentarily replaces the header image as a new page is loading. It seems to happen every 3-4 clicks. Any suggestions on how to fix? The image looks like this link.
