Please review the help file for instructions with creating a menu. In the instructions, you'll see you do not need to select the menu in the drop down, just make sure it's named "main".

When I go to the menu area (Appearance / Menus), I see this message:
Your theme supports 0 menus. Select which menu appears in each location.
I've added menus but they don't appear, I still get the same two that showed up whenI installed the theme: Uncategorized and Sample Page. How can I add/change menu items?
