Hi there,

The "you might like" script uses those sections you removed in order to know when it needs to appear.

To fix this, open "footer.php" and at the bottom you'll want to replace '#authorBio' with '#commentsection' on line 81.

Hi there

I have added the following custom css to make the bottom of posts cleaner:
#shareThis {display:none;}
#metaStuff {display:none;}
#authorBio {display:none;}

however, now the "you might also like" box pops up as soon as you scroll even just a little bit from the top, covering widgets on the right.

how can i set it so that the box only pops up closer to the bottom?

thanks

Hi Chris,

when I try to change this in the footer - file (thanks for the hint I must have been blind ...) I can change it but when I try to save,this message appears:
You don't have permission to access /wp-admin/theme-editor.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Is that a problem on my side, or is there something wrong with the php because I am able to change all other php files but this one.

Hi there,

Regarding the wording of the "You might also like" box, you can control that from the "footer.php" file on line 56.

Regarding the title, I'm not seeing that happen on my end. The structure of the title in the browser doesn't match what I have setup either, so to me it appears you're using a plugin that may affect this. Try deactivating any additional plugins you have installed to see if that addresses the issue.

Thanks!

Chris

@207rewind: Thanks a lot :) I was just playing around with different logo sizes until i found the right spacings. was a bit of a mess, but it worked out in the end.

@ justin: Any idea where to change the wording of the "You might also like-box", please? And I would also be grateful if the original issue in this thread could be resolved. Cheers :)

Same problem as OP here. And another one where I hope you can help.
At the moment it says "You might also like". We brought an article yesterday about the homicide of a student in Tokio. So the box said "You might also like... "Irish Student killed in Tokio.

Which sounds a bit odd. Where can I cahange the text of the box to e.g. "You could also be interested in ..." I was looking in each section of the editor but could not locate this box to change the wording.

Thanks for your help guys!

The you might also like feature is messing with my site making what ever page you are looking at brower/search title to change to the article that is showing in the "You Might Also Like" for example view this page: http://207rewind.com/up-to-200-maine-churches-raising-money-to-fight-gay-marriage/ notice that whatever shows up in the you might also like pop out in the bottom right hand corner is the name displayed on the browser tab. I then went and decided to search on google posts I have made since installing and any article I posted what ever the "you might also like post" was is the title displayed in google search but the description is for the article is supposed to be? Please help not sure how to fix this and terrible upset it's messing up my google seo stuff
