Hi Chris,

I have solved the issue. Although not isolated the exact cause.
It seems that Yoast somehow changes the value of the $id variable during the processing of header.php.

If you look at the value before and after the call to wp_head() you'll notice it changes when the Yoast SEO plugin is activated.

I simply renamed the variable $welcome_page_id and it fixed the issue so probably some naming conflict.

Hi Chris,

Had the same issue, did this get resolved? Page loads but the upper is empty so I suspect there is something funky happening in the js loader.

Hi there,

Can you provide a link to your site? I'll take a look.

NOTE: Please keep in mind, though, that I do not provide support for plugin-related issues. If there is a theme-related issue/bug, I'll be happy to troubleshoot it, but if the issue is solely caused by how the plugin is configured, you'll need to use the proper support channels for the plugin.

Thanks!

Chris
