Here's the official fix for Eventure v1.0.4 and under...

Open up "functions.php" and replace the following block of code around line 57...

//WELCOME TO THE FUTURE
function setup_future_hook() {
// Replace native future_post function with replacement
remove_action('future_post', '_future_post_hook');
add_action('future_post', 'publish_future_post_now');
}
function publish_future_post_now($id) {
// Set new post's post_status to "publish" rather than "future."
wp_publish_post($id);
}
add_action('init', 'setup_future_hook');

...with this block of code...

//WELCOME TO THE FUTURE
remove_action('future_post', '_future_post_hook');
add_filter( 'wp_insert_post_data', 'nacin_do_not_set_posts_to_future' );
function nacin_do_not_set_posts_to_future( $data ) {
    if ( $data['post_status'] == 'future' && $data['post_type'] == 'post' )
        $data['post_status'] = 'publish';
    return $data;
}

That should do the trick! I'm submitting an update with this change as we speak.

Thanks!

Chris

Bula, hi there,

Neglecting to notice the theme is for Wordpress 3.4, I updated to Wordpress 3.5.

Subsequently, my calendar is in trouble. Previously I would publish a post/event listing, schedule it for the future and it would happily appear on my calendar.

Now when I publish a post/event listing and schedule for a future date...it takes it back offline, listed as 'scheduled' opposed to 'published'...

Yeegads!

Are you intending to update the theme for Wordpress 3.5? OR do I need to backup, take everything offline, reinstall 3.4 and then reinstall Eventure?

If I sound like a newbie, it's because I am! With thanks in advance...
