Be sure you're uploading the WordPress zip file specifically. If you're downloading the main zip file from ThemeForest, you'll need to open that and locate the theme zip inside.

Please confirm you're uploading the proper zip file.

Can't get this theme to install. I go to themes, upload and select the zip file I downloaded from you. It just keeps trying to install but nothing happens
