I just found what was the problem. In the pot file, there is a line "Live Widgets". I translated this line and that was the problem since in the php code you refer directly to "Live Widgets" so there was nothing since in my translated file, it was another name.

So the problem is the "Live Widgets" text.

1. When you view the Info Panel, do you see the copyright text in the bottom of the page?

2. Try NOT translating the "Live Widgets" text in the curator.pot file. Let me know if that helps at all.

But do you have an idea why the info panel is blank when I translate my website? Even with a .mo file with nothing translated, the info panel is blank. I understand that it's customization but when I want to buy a theme, I verify that it is translation ready because I'm french. On ThemeForest, in the features of The Curator Theme, it's written "Translation ready" so when I translate a theme with a POT file, I hope that all the features works when it's translated.

Before customizing anyhting else, I just prepared a .mo file, put it in the languages directory and my Info Panel was blank so in translating my theme with the POT file included, I lost one of the features, the "info panel".

I can confirm the theme's .POT file is generated to current standards.

Unfortunately translating a theme is considered a customization. Since you're adding custom templates/markup, etc, troubleshooting issues goes beyond my standard support services I can provide.

Regarding the elements that are left out, I'll be sure to review that...

So after some more testing, the only way to display the info panel with something in it is in the native language. As soon as i place a translation file, my site is in french but the info panel is blank. When i remove the translation file, the content is there. So I think I will have to translate directly in the files to have a french site. And the translation file who is with the theme is not complete, there is some english left after the translation like "Search site", "Newer", "Older"

I just found what cause the widgets to disappears. It was the po file for the translation. When I removed the file, the widgets are there. I tried to replace the file and the widgets stay there. So it's now working now. Thank you for the help!
