The MORE menu does not show the widgets that I dragged in.

When you hit the more menu all you see is

" Go ad some Widgets" Am I missing something?

The width doesnt effect it because I am no longer using the featured content code anymore. I have added slider plugin to the header. All the featured info code is removed. This is the code that is in my header file. If you look at the website you will see the contact widget info next to the main picture that is what i want to do but i want it to be the home page wdgets instead of the footer widgets. The footer widget appeared when i entered this code into the header.

Code I Inserted to have footer widget appear:

The #featured div is in the "header.php" file, but you control the width from the "style.css" file.

Where is the featured div located??

It doesn't look like you changed the width of the #featured div. Try changing the width to the actual width of the content that it contains, and floating it left.

That didnt seem to work any other options??

The width of the featured div is still too wide. Try changing the width and floating it to the left. That might allow the sidebar to shift up.

I removed the tabbed section and would like to add a widget in its place. If you visit the site it may help you understand what im trying to do. I want to add a widget to the right side right above the quick links widget. I have tried to figure it out on my own the last few days an im completely lost. If you remove the featured section properly, then the tabbed section and right-hand widget panel should all be there already.

Below the featured section there is already a widget on the right-hand side, next to the post tab section.

The availability of the upcoming events widgets is a limitation of the plugin, not the theme.

would your answer change if i meant the right side?? right above the footer widget. Also I cant seem to add the upcoming events widget to my home page and all the other pages. I can only use it on one or the other.

Ok so I got the widget to finally appear on my home page. I removed the featured picture gallery and i want to replace the empty left side with a widget and I cant figure it out.

Sorry, but I'm unable to recreate the issue you're having, which leads me to believe it's a hosting/WordPress issue.

My only recommendation is to re-install the latest update of WordPress and see if that corrects the issue you're having.

I love the theme and have never had a problem with it until I went to add widgets to the home page. I'm running version 2.9.2 and disabled all the plugins. I can add widgets to other pages no problem but for some reason, they don't appear on the home page. I've read through the forum and I know you've said before that it's not a theme issue but I have switched back to the default theme and can add widgets to the home page there. Is there an issue and if so, any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
