Since The Novelist does not have a sidebar, the widgets display in the "+" section.

I added the Jetpack Blog subscription widget. It's greyed out and doesn't appear on the blog. Anyways, there seem to be no sidebars, where will widgets appear anyways? I noticed some appear on the menue that appears if one clicks on the + sign beside the menu.
