hi Chris I have the same issue on safari, on page load the fade effect have a flik/blink issue. The same when i load images on prettyphoto.
The theme version is the latest. I updated the prettyphoto lib but nothing changed...any suggest?

That seems to have done the trick. When I looked in safari preferences WP did have a lot of data stored. Thanks Chris.

Hi there,

I visited the URL in Safari, refreshed the page and don't see the flashing anymore (I did see it when you had v1.0.3). Please make sure you cleared your browser cache and try refreshing the page a couple times to reset everything.

I see what you mean. I looked at your source code and see you're running version 1.0.3 of the theme. Please update the theme to version 1.0.4, which may address this issue.

I'm on safari 6.0.3

To me it looks like the flash is actually the background picture pops up for a slit second, the the cog comes up, and everything settles in.

I have started working on this site again. Right now its only ideas. When pages load there is a white flash first. I cant figure out how to stop it from happening. The site is dying fiction.com
