Figured it out. The path I found included public_html which I didn't see on your faq-how-to path. Maybe I missed it.

Sorry, much time passed since above question, much has intervened. But I now want to update my version. I downloaded the latest from Theme Forest. It unzipped as panels_files_1.1.4 I had 1.1.2.

The FAQ says, "Using an FTP tool, navigate to the themes folder in your WordPress installation."

By wordpress installation, you mean the"Panels" folder on my mac laptop, which contains, among much else, the style.css thingy. Is that what and where you mean?

If so: I don't recall using an FTP tool. What FTP tool do you suggest?

Hi,
I purchased Panels in 2014. Am quite satisfied with it. Thanks!

Recently, I received a message and looked on my site and there are updates for 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012. Do I update using them all? I don't see why else all would appear.

Also I just received an email from Envato saying there's an update to Panels: One-Page Responsive WP Theme. So I went to my site, I don't see an update for this different from those described in the above para that I saw a few weeks ago.

So I went to its themeforest page, nothing about updates there. How do I get this update, simply download again on its themeforest page?
