Hi there,

All options should be available in the latest version of the theme. How did you install?

Also, please keep in mind, a separate license/purchase is required for each domain/installation of the theme. This is also to confirm you still have support access as ThemeForest now requires renewal for continue support past 1 year.

Best,

Good morning, Molitor.

I'm Oddio Works. I know this is an old discussion but I'm having an issue. Doing a second site, severedroad.com, for my feature. I'm trying to set it up exactly as my current site, but that's The Producer 1.3.2 and the new site version is 100.4.0. I re-downloaded today from Themeforest.

The documentation says to:
As of version 1.2.0, you can now assign a video on the home page (instead of welcome text) using the same embed code markup. Visit the "general" tab on the "customize" page.

On this version, the only options on the Customizing>General tab is Theme Skin, "Only Show Continue Text on Hover", and "Display Search in Menu."

When I compare these two sites under Appearance>Customize, there are more options in 1.3.2 than the newer version including everything the same and "Typography" and "Homepage Settings".

"Homepage Settings" is where "Welcome Video (overrides message)" is located.

Has this option been removed? I've spent the day going over the options and documentation. Nothing listed like this.

I'm not public with the site as it's for a feature and the trailer is not public, yet.

Thanks, Christopher.

Hi there,

For synopsis, that's just the standard post content.

For the gallery, just upload the images you want to the post via the "add media" tab. Once images are uploaded, they will automatically appear in a gallery tab.

NOTE: You do not need to insert the images into the post content area. Simply uploading them from the post edit page will "attach" them to the post and automatically create a "gallery" tab.

Best,

OK. I removed my dispute with Paypal. I'm no longer contesting your sale. Thanks for your support.

Just a followup. About these magical "tabs". Now I've included the CONTINUE script for the CURTAIN EFFECT again. The tabs SYNOPSIS GALLERY COMMENTS appear.

Go figure. Anyway. I'll use them. But WHERE DO I LOAD THE GALLERY??? No page or post exists called GALLERY. or SYNOPSIS.

Thanks again

Specifically, it's removing the parameters that are webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen

After it saves or publishes they are gone.

Anyway the trailer link I use in the menu is working with the video showing full screen on a post page. Now ironically, the tabs are showing up as SYNOPSIS GALLERY But where do I enter the GALLERY pictures??? There's no corresponding page or post.

Hi there,

WordPress does not support an option to make a post page the home page. There *may* be a plugin that can do this, but I'm not aware of any to recommend or link to.

I'll look into this more as I can't think of why the code would change on the home page. There's nothing in *my* code that would look for iframes and change them, so it's possible there's a WordPress function that is doing this somewhere.

I'll see what I can find...

OK

Thanks for getting back to me. I did find something out tinkering around with this. You're wrong about this being a user error in using Vimeo. My Vimeo settings as I said are fine.

When I go to create an embedded video on your post page. The frame shows up with the FULLSCREEN BUTTON. It's like I've tried to get across to you and I do have some fair amount of WP experience. Although that's not my profession. The welcome box on the home page strips out the full screen parameters copied from the Vimeo embed script. I can see that. I paste it in. It's there. I save. It's not there.

It stays intact on the post page. So my question is: Can we make a post page a home page?

Hi there,

I have not provided any services for oddioworks.com

I'm not sure why all your buttons are not available, but again, that isn't a theme-related thing. The embedded video is 100% generated by the embed code you enter. In this case, that means it's 100% managed by Vimeo.

If I had any insight into this, I would definitely point you in the right direction, but being as it is, my best suggestion is to review Vimeo support resources about issues with buttons not being displayed in the player generated by the embed code provided.

Best,

Hi there,

Just to clarify, the full frame is being displayed. I see from another thread on here that you were asking about buttons now showing in your video. This is not controlled by the theme. This is a vimeo setting you need to configure on vimeo.com regarding your video embeds and how they display.

Again, the theme is not hiding any buttons or overriding the content that displays in your video.

Hope that helps.

Best,

Well I understand your point of view not being taken for a ride writing your customer's unique layout needs. But you're selling a producer / production company video exhibition theme site which is meant to exhibit videos the best way possible. Confining the screen size to just 700 px wide for videos is lame. I've tried opening up the frame. All it does is bump the other graphics. There's a conflict with the iframe working with Vimeo in displaying the full frame mode.

another user did it but had your help obviously.

Yeah I'm not trying to bust your chops. I've dealt with envato for years. Recently bought an AE project from a guy in Ukraine. He got back to me in an hour. Worked beautifully. So I'll drop my Paypal claim if we can work this out. I'm just trying to launch a TV project. Not relearn WP.

Truly your youtube guide doesn't do you any service. And the demo content loads with broken links. Be nice if loaded with that tab feature. Just doesn't come across you need a video on the post page to make it work.
