Hi there,

Per the help file and video, the slider requires you to setup a category specifically for content to display there.

Also, the demo content is included with your download, so I recommend uploading that to get started if you aren't familiar with creating posts, pages and categories.

Ultimately the issue you're having is with using WordPress. Unfortunately we can't provide WordPress help as that is something we just don't have the resources to do. For WordPress help, please visit the official forums here: http://wordpress.org/support

It is up and running. So where do I go from there? I have figured out several things, but I still don't know how to access many of the features that I see in the sample site. For example, I want to have a "Volunteer" link that matches your contact page in the demo site. Also, how do I change the home page to one of the other three page layout options? the URL is lynnwardle.com that I am building.

Hey Barry, have you gotten the Option Tree plugin installed properly yet? Many times similar issues like this result in the Option Tree plugin not being setup yet. Let me know and we'll go from there!

In the Politico theme, I can't seem to find where to setup the images for the home page slider. I can load them into the gallery, but can't find the place make them into a slider image. I tried to follow the youtube video (really needs sound, btw) but I don't have the category settings on a post other than uncategorized - so slider is not an option. Like another post I saw, I don't find ANY of the pages that the theme has... How do I get to them? It's like nothing loaded into the theme at all. I really want a sample page type you offer so I can look at the code and customize the content to meet my needs. How do I activate features of the theme? I'm really desperate to get this up quickly.
