You bet! Also, I had a great TG holiday ;-)

If you're enjoying the theme, PLEASE don't forget to rate it on your downloads page on ThemeForest. Five-star ratings REALLY help me out and encourage further development and updates.

Thanks!

Hi Chris,

Thank you for your response, I hope you had a fantastic Thanks Giving holiday weekend!
I think I was overly complicating things, I needed to just take a step back and tweak a couple of things. I would like to congratulate you on such an intuitive template, it really works well.

Kind regards,
Luke

Hi there,

Apologies for the delay. It was a holiday weekend here in the U.S...

With your current menu setup, the only items that require a category setup would be "productions" and "news", which I see you have correctly implemented on your site. As you mentioned, category pages automatically display any posts that have been published with that particular category assigned.

With news and projects, those are added via posts because they always have a time associated with them. Pages, on the other hand, do not have a time association as they typically are used for general information (i.e. about, contact, etc.).

Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions about this.

Best,

Hi,

I seem to be getting into a little confusion whilst creating my site - scene97.com
My top menu is Home, About,Production, News, Contact.

Do I need to create a page per menu heading, then create a category for each. Then when i want to add to a page just write a post and click the appropriate category?

Or do I just create a category for each menu heading, then create posts with the relevant category?

Basically when do I need a page and when don't I?
At the moment the site is working well but I am struggling with the above to flesh out my sub menus, this leads me to think that I might have made a mistake with the original page/menu/category setup.

Hope that makes sense.

Many thanks in advance,
Luke
