I also have this issue. The slider works fine in Firefox but is blank in IE8. I have disabled all other plugins in WP and even reset IE8 to defaults. THe dual-slider works, but not the nivo.

Thanks! If you figure it out please let me know. I am still new to the whole website thing so I am not sure how to handle that specific plug-in. I don't mind the dual slider, but I definitely prefer the nivo and I just don't where to begin to look in the code and where to fix it.

Thanks - we'll take a look at the Nivo slider, though, as you can see it's a plugin.

update: Cross-posted in wordpress and got the response showing an issue with the nivo slider? the answer is a bit dated so I am not sure if this is still an issue, but this is what I've received. Changed it back to dual slider and it's now compatible with IE, it's only when I use the nivo slider that is not showing.

So. Brand new problem, and it may not be theme related, but I feel someone may be able to help me troubleshoot this. When I view my website in internet explorer it doesn't show the slider or pictures; however if I look at it in Firefox, or even from the internet on my phone it shows up fine. I have no idea how to attempt to fix this, so if you have any idea on what I can do to make it work in IE (and I have 2 different versions running my work one I believe is IE7 and my home is IE9 same problem in both though). I finally got the slider working yesterday after an option tree re-load and now the showing up in the browser issue.

Please help!
