I am having this error too! Here is the text of it:
Warning: Illegal string offset 'custom_option' in /home/conroefi/public_html/lifestyle/wp-content/themes/wpuniversity/single.php on line 12

I am getting this error for every post:Warning: Illegal string offset 'custom_option' in C:\xampp\htdocs\caldwell\wp-content\themes\wpuniversity\single.php on line 12. Does any one know why this would happen? Searching on the web, I found some similar issues related to using php 5.4. I am using xampp and wordpress 3.4.1.
