I am having a similar problem, but my homepage is set to show latest posts and my category is set properly in option tree.

My home displays the title and featured image of the post, but none of the post content.

Any ideas?

Try this:

Go to Settings > Reading > Then set Front Page to display: Latest Posts

Let me know if that works.

You should just need to select News as the homepage category. Please post a link to your site if that's not working.

Hi all! I would like to show the home page posts from certain categories. if I select from the categories optiontree-> homelistings-> category, and unless, the home page remains blank.
