Success!!! I was using the new wordpress dashboard and didn't get the options for the post. It now works. And the gallery, I just redid it and now it works as well! Wohooooo

Sorry but I have read the documentation over and over, watched the wlaktrhpugh a few times and I still can't get it to work. I might be missing something very basic. Not even the gallery works as it should:

Ok cool, I tried adding just the direct link (https://videos.files.wordpress.com/jVw9Lphx/test-00_2.mp4) to the body of the post but still no luck. I also tried parenting that post to the site page on the Menu but I can't get it to work. The static page that I selected as the homepage and that post should be connected somehow?

You need to provide a URL that links directly to the mp4 file (the URL will end with .mp4).

Hey Chris,

I have been using your Vysual theme to update my website. I have:

- Created a Site Page
- Changed its attributes to: Page Template: Reviews + Video
- Changed the title to just "Demoreel", and the content to text saying "Demoreel"

- Created a Blog Post
- Changed its post format to: Video
- Changed the name to Reel, and added a mp4 video in the content field (this one: https://videopress.com/v/jVw9Lphx)

- Went to customize and changed the Homepage settings to display: A static page
- Changed that static page to Demoreel

I have the website displaying the play button, but no video plays if its clicked. Have I missed something?
