Hi there,

1. The last item in the slider will display the slider category title, description and link to the category page (see demo site for reference.). Currently you have the "Uncategorized" category used for the slider. To change this, you can either edit the category name/description in WordPress or create a new category (with description) and assign that as the slider category on the customize page.

If you want to remove this slide all together, open index.php and remove the following on lines 64-72...

<!--VIEW ALL CATEGORY SLIDE-->
<li class="homeSlide" id="catSlide">
	<div class="slideDetails">
 <h2 class="posttitle"><a href="<?php echo get_category_link($sliderCat); ?>"><?php echo get_cat_name($sliderCat);?></a></h2>
 <?php echo category_description($sliderCat); ?>
 <a class="viewDetails" href="<?php echo get_category_link($sliderCat); ?>"><?php _e('View All','themolitor');?></a>
	</div><!--end slideDetails-->
	<span><?php echo $catBg;?></span>
</li><!--END VIEW ALL CATEGORY SLIDE-->

2-3. For more info about using the menu system, please watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U90Jt4qvLMc

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Hey Chris,

I am pretty happy with my site now, but was hoping for just three things.

1. If you go to http://www.taztiger.com, and scroll down to the second section, then hit the right arrow, you get "Uncategorized, View All" Is there a way to get rid of the label "uncategorized"?

2. I can't figure out how to just put a "home" button on the menu, so it goes back to the main page of the site. I know people can click on the logo and it does that, but was wondering how do I put this in the text on the main menu?

3. Is there a way to put twitter and Facebook icons in the menu? Or, be able to put "Facebook" as text in the menu so when it's clicked it sends people to Facebook page by opening another page?

Thanks,

Mike

Hi there,

Please be sure to review the demo site for an accurate idea of what the home page is designed to look like: http://themes.themolitor.com/producer

As you can see on the site linked above, The Producer home page displays a welcome message (or video) in the top panel, a post slider in the middle panel and footer widgets in the bottom panel.

You can create posts for the videos you want people to see and have those posts appear in the middle column. Keep in mind, the middle column is a post slider that currently only displays the featured image, title and excerpt of the post (reference the demo site for example). Users will need to navigate to the post page to view the videos.

If you need the home page to function differently than this, please feel free to submit a customization request here: http://themolitor.com/customization-request

Hope that helps.

Best,

Hey Chris,

I did what you said and fixed the landing page of the site. However, when I scroll down I would like two of three more videos to come up on the scrolling feature. I don't really need anymore content than that. Just two or three videos that people can check out, under the main trailer that is on the Static Front Page.

I thought this would be achieved by going to Posts, then Custom Embed Options, then embedding the video there. Right? It's not working and the video isn't coming up. Am I doing something wrong?

http://www.taztiger.com

Thanks,

Hi there,

1. You're using a static page as your home page. Pages are not setup to be used for videos like that. To display a video on your home page, be sure to visit the Customize page (appearance > customize) and enter the embed code in the Static Front Page settings. Don't forget to select "latest posts" for your front page.

2. You entered that in the page content area. Keep in mind, posts are used for video projects, not pages.

3. The footer panel is a core element of the page layout. Due to the complicated nature of the page effects/layout, removing panels is not a quick and simple task. For changes like this, please submit a customization request: http://themolitor.com/customization-request

Let me know if you still need help with 1&2.

Best,

Chris

Hello,

1. If you go to http://www.taztiger.com, you will notice the word "Trailer" in the center of the page. On this front page of the website, I don't want there to be any writing, so I don't want it to say "Trailer" here, but I still want "Trailer" in the top menu. How do I remove this?

2. Second, if you scroll down and look at the trailer, you will notice that it is not centered on the page. How can I make this centered on the page? Here is what I embedded...

<iframe src="//player.XXXX.com/video/80428437?title=0&byline=0&portrait=0&color=ffffff" width="1150" height="647" frameborder="0" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen></iframe> <p><a href="http://XXXX.com/80428437">Tasmanian Tiger Trailer</a> from <a href="http://XXXX.com/mikepaulucci">Mike Paulucci</a> on <a href="https://XXXX.com">Vimeo</a>.</p>

3. I want to remove the entire section that is the " live widgets" section on allpages. I want to keep the small footer "all right reserved" section. But I don't need this live widgets section. How do I remove it from all pages?

Thank you,
