If you're enjoying the theme, PLEASE don't forget to rate it on your downloads page on ThemeForest. Positive ratings REALLY help me out and encourage further development and updates.

Thanks!

That did the trick. There was an unused post linking to the video. Thank you.

Hi there,

Those appear to be two separate posts (they have different post IDs). Please double-check to make sure you don't have two published posts with the same videos.

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Christopher

Thanks Christopher.

Assigning a featured picture did seem to clear that up, but it introduced another issue. Let me try and explain...

After adding the featured pic to the post (format: Video, Categories: News), it showed up fine after clicking "News" under my navigation, but when navigating to "Videos", it was shown messed up as before.

I then assigned the post an additional category (Videos), and clicked "Videos" in the nav once again. The "Videos" page now showed two instances of my video: one displaying fine (with the featured pic), and beside it was the messed up version.

Is there any way to remove the messed up version which is also being put there?

Hi there,

It looks like there is a delay with loading the featured image from vimeo. It's recommended that you upload an image to the post and assign it as the featured image for the video.

Try that and let me know if it works better for you.

Best,

Christopher

Aside from appearing on the static homepage, my only video is reached through the navigation, which is populated by categories. The video is hosted by Vimeo, and the format of the post is "video". The post contains no content, just a descriptive header and the Vimeo link in it's assigned spot.

When I click on "Videos" in the navigation, my post with the "video" category loads, but the video itself is not visible. What I see is the category and header text mashed together along with a cut off graphic of your play button. If I refresh the page, everything displays as it should: Category on top, followed by a picture of my video with your play button overlayed, and below that my header text. If I were to click "Videos" again in the nav, everything is mashed up again until I hit refresh.

I'm having this issue on a PC (Chrome browser) and an iPad Air.

The URL for my site is http://theplanetofdoom.com

How can I get my video to display properly the first time it loads? Thank you.
