Hi there,

When it comes to showing/playing videos, VYSUAL has 3 primary options: (1) play button on the home page where clicking the button shows a video pop-up, (2) using the "videos page" template where video posts are shown individually full screen with arrows to navigate to the next post/video, and (3) using the category layout where all posts/videos are lined up horizontally with individual play buttons for each item.

Anything beyond this would require custom development services as there is a good amount of research, testing and custom code involved.

P.S. I want to try embedding, too, as I would like it if the visitor clicks on trailer on the menu and that brings up a smallish video screen (similar to the way the other pages show on the home page when you click on them).

Hi, I have created a trailer POST and am using a vimeo url. It works fine.
Can I make a trailer PAGE instead and use embedded video? I have tried doing this, but can't get it to work.
I'm asking this question as I would prefer NOT to have the video play button on the home page.
(So related question: can I have use the trailer POST in a way that the play button does not display on the home page?).

Yes, you can embed MP4 videos. Where were you wanting to display the video? Home page? Videos page?
