Hi there,

The "Videos 1" page on the demo site is a standard page with the "Videos" page template assigned. This page template grabs ALL posts with the "video" post format assigned.

The "Videos 2" page on the demo site is a standard category page. I created a category (i.e. "Videos") and added the category page link to the menu. This page displays ALL posts with the same category assigned.

Please let me know if that helps.

Best,

Christopher

If you go to http://foxy.city and open the side bar, you'll see a list of 2 video (template) pages there.
To get them here I have first created the page with my Youtube video ID (of course) then add it to a menu.
But if I just do that, and nothing else, it seems that no video show up when I call (click) that page : either there's no button to play it, or it plays the other sticky post/video ("Grand Opening") I use as a front page.
The only way to have it working, is by creating a Post this time, set as video type, with the exact same video ID.
After hours of try, I just can't wrap my head around the process which would provide the basic behavior I'm expecting,
the only feeling I have is that fro some magical reason playing around with both page and post sharing the same Youtube ID will do the trick.

I'm I missing something here (because it seems I do)?

PS: on a side note, I reaaaalllly love this theme, but I find the manual lacks a great deal of step by step instructions to obtain what we're seing on the demo and your presentation video, which are the reason why we buy it in the first place. My opinion is that if you take the time to give us the processes which are in your head, you might save a lot of time not answering our stupid questions in this very forum.

Thanks so much the amazing job! Carry on! I love your products.
