Hi there,

You can remove the cookie feature all together by changing the following on line 60 of footer.php from this...

if(!jQuery.cookie("alert")){jQuery('#alert').show();}

...to this...

jQuery('#alert').show();

Best,

Chris

Unfortunately, no, it didn't work. Thanks, though. For now, I'm going to incorporate the Fiat Alert Bar plugin into my site.

Hi there,

You could try doing decimals for the "stay hidden" option (i.e. ".5", ".25", etc.). I haven't tried it myself, but it's worth a try. Also, try just leaving that field blank, or enter "0".

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Chris

We sometimes have to update our alert box a few times during a day as new information becomes available. With the previous Option Tree system, I could force the alert box to refresh when visitors refreshed their page view. However, with v2.0, once a visitor dismisses the alert bar, it stays hidden until the 1 day minimum "stay hidden" passes.

How do I fix this? Or can it be fixed?
Thanks
