Thanks to Mashleman..

UPDATE: when using one and the same word for 'categorie' and 'slug' the category filter works.

BUT: for a category with 2 words it doesn't. My 2 worded category is Film & TV, I cant find a slugword which makes this filter work.

ANOTHER ISSUE: one category, I added in the same way as the other ones, does not appear in the filter?

Hi my category filter doesn't work also. Thereby categories I add to the category manager disappear when I load the category manager again. Is there another solution which is a little bit easier then the above described one? If not, can you tell me where I can find 'custom.js' ?

This update addresses a reported issue with using category filters that contain two words (i.e. "Some Category"). To apply this update to your Eventure installation, follow these steps...

Open the "custom.js" file located in the "scripts" directory of the theme files.

On line 12 locate the following...

var activeCat = jQuery(this).html().toLowerCase();

...and change it to this (notice the addition on the end)...

var activeCat = jQuery(this).html().toLowerCase().replace(/ /g,'');

Open "style.css" and change the version number at the top to "1.0.2".

That's it!

NOTE: in order for this update to work properly, you need to remove any dashes/hyphens in your category slug names. To do that, navigate to the categories page and edit the categories that have two words. Simply delete the "-" from the slug and save. That's it!
