There is no standard size, but if your images are VERY large in file size, you may experience issues. Make sure your images are optimized for the web.

You can optimize images using various online tools:

Please keep in mind, these are not theme-related issues/questions. Any issues uploading images is related to either your WordPress installation and/or your hosting configurations.

I was trying to upload huge images (60cm x 50 cm), that was the problem. I resized and I could do it. Thanks

I can´t upload images in my web, I´ve tried using the url or the picture and dropping it to the menu in the customizing page... This error occurs when I tried to check the attachement from the image page in the multinedia library: Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /homepages/14/d507366424/htdocs/ConsultaPsicoterapia/wp-content/themes/photopharm/functions.php on line 105. Don´t know if it´s related. Any how I can´t post any picture in the web. I´m not an expert, and sorry for my English. Thank you!
