Hi there,

Thanks for purchasing and sorry for not seeing your pre-purchase questions!

1. Upgrading the font-awesome library built into the theme requires you to update the font-awesome folder and update ALL references to the font-awesome library within the theme template files as the syntax/markup has changed. To specifically udpate the event detail icons, you'll want to change the font references inside the "smallMeta" div in the single.php template file.

Please keep in mind my "customization request form" response is necessary as most support requests I get here are really customization requests, which are not covered under my standard support services. This request is a customization, so if you need additional help, you will need to submit a request for custom services.

2. I'm making use of the "wp_dropdown_categories" function. You can alter this function based on the options available here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_dropdown_categories

Specifically, there's a "hierarchical" option that has a False setting (default) that displays all categories or a True setting that displays categories to a depth determined by the 'depth' setting.

Hope that helps!

Best,

Christopher

Hi,

I bought your theme a couple of days ago, after not having any pre-purchase response from you via PM submission on theme-forest.

Anyway, no biggy.

Like your theme, and am customising a little. Have a couple of questions, but as am fairly proficient at WP, I don't want to be fobbed off with your "customisation request form" response I see a lot of on your support forums.

These should be easy tweaks:

1. I want to change icons used on single.php, mainly as I want to update to Font Awesome 4.4.0 as the version you have used (3.2.1) is officially no longer supported, and secondly as I would like to change the icon used for age, from the group icon to the fa-birthday-cake icon. So, I have replaced files in theme>font-awesome folder, but am getting empty rectangular boxes. Can you advise what other changes I need to make to get this functioning correctly?

2. I would like to have the Event field on post-form.php displaying the dropdowns accurately as per the categories in WP. That is to say, at the moment all categories appear as one straight drop down list without any visible hierarchy. I would like the drop down to appear showing hierarchical subcategories, rather than at present where all options are displayed as top level categories? Any advice on achieving this?

Sorry to sound demanding, but I have bought a lot of themes over the years, and request like these are usually supported by direct emailed fixes, without any further cost implied.

Please help me out, and I will promise to provide a review on receipt of a workable fix.

Kind regds,
