Hi there,

That's really strange. I'm not experiencing this issue. I'm glad you found a work around. If this becomes an issue for you or stops working as a solution, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Best,

Chris

Main alone does not work. This has been my main menu's name always. But if I put Main in between "" it shows the main menu. This also happens because alphabetically " will sort before any alphabet letter, for now I can use it as is. Last night, I change the theme to Twenty Fourteen and I was able to to select any menu as the main menu and it worked.

Hi there,

Make sure you're naming the main menu "Main" (case sensitive) and naming any other menus something else.

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Chris

Sorry for the delay in replying. I deleted all my menu's and setup my main. then it worked. As soon as I added a second, it always loads the first one on the list.

Hi there,

1. Hmm, I can't think of a reason the menu wouldn't be working for you. Maybe try creating a new menu and see if that has any impact?

2. Yes, an update added featured image support, which makes managing the images much easier (i.e. don't have to delete images to change the featured items).

Let me know if #1 helps.

Best,

Chris

1. I have done that, I made sure that I assigned the correct menu.

2. That sorted out the featured images, thanks. previously it worked by just loading it in the post section

Hi there,

1. Are you sure you're properly assigning the menu? WordPress is in control of the menu system, not the theme. Maybe try changing the menu setting on the Customize page (appearance > customize).

2. Did you assign a featured image for the posts in the slider? You can assign this on the post edit screen in the lower right-side of the page.

Let me know.

Best,

Chris

Site in question is http://nlbnew.leendert.co.za/ which is on wordpress ver 4
This is a clone of http://nlb.co.za/ which is still on wordpress ver 3.9.2, as soon as I update to version 4, it shows the first menu on the list. I have 7 menu's in the list. Main menu is the 5th on list, but it still shows the 1st menu.

Hi there,

The latest version of the theme will always be available from your downloads page on ThemeForest. If you don't see it there, you'll need to contact Envato support as I do not have any control over a availability of files on that page.

If you want me to send you an updated zip file of the theme, please send me a message from my profile page on ThemeForest: http://themeforest.net/user/themolitor

Best,

Hi there,

Any edits you made to the actual template files and/or core image files will be replaced. If the only changes you've made are image-based, I recommend downloading those images and then just re-uploading them to the theme folder to replace the newer image files.

Hope that helps.

Best,

If I have customized the page header/logos/graphics will they be overwritten when I update the theme from 5.0 to 6.0?

re-entering the theme settings on the theme customizer page isn't a big deal, but I don't want to have to redo any graphics that i've modified in the theme.

my site is lbc-rs.org by the way. Thanks.

In addition to major code improvements and featured image support, theme options are now controlled by the WordPress theme customizer.

The old theme options setup have been completely removed, so updating should be a breeze. Theme options are accessible from "appearance" > "customize"

TO UPDATE THE THEME:

Download the latest version of the theme from your downloads page on ThemeForest.

Using an FTP tool, navigate to the themes folder in your WordPress installation.

yourdomain.com > wordpress folder > wp-content > themes

Replace the old theme folder with the new one via FTP.

You'll need to re-enter your theme settings on the theme customizer page.
