Hi there,

All files have been updated with this update. The main change is the theme options panel uses the WordPress theme customizer instead of the OptionTree system. This will give you a live preview of your changes to the theme options. It's pretty neat.

Unfortunately no. If you're making changes to the template files, it's recommended that you use the child theme approach so that you don't have to worry about updating the theme in the future.

Hey!

Hope your well… have a question for ya. Is there a light version for the update that only updates the essentials? I don't want to have to redo the changes I have made.

Theme options are now controlled by the WordPress theme customizer.

The old OptionTree framework has been completely removed, so updating should be a breeze. Theme options are accessible from "appearance" > "customize"

TO UPDATE THE THEME:

  1. Download the latest version of the theme from your downloads page on ThemeForest.
  2. Using an FTP tool, navigate to the themes folder in your WordPress installation.
    yourdomain.com > wordpress folder > wp-content > themes
  3. Replace the old theme folder with the new one via FTP.

You'll need to re-enter your theme settings on the theme customizer page.
