Can this method be used for any previous version of the theme? I have a site that is on 1.0.5.

Or do I need to follow the instructions to reset all my database options...like updating to 1.2.

Theme options are now controlled by the WordPress theme customizer.

The old OptionTree framework has been completely removed, so updating should be a breeze. Theme options are accessible from "appearance" > "customize"

TO UPDATE THE THEME:

  1. Download the latest version of the theme from your downloads page on ThemeForest.
  2. Using an FTP tool, navigate to the themes folder in your WordPress installation.
    yourdomain.com > wordpress folder > wp-content > themes
  3. Replace the old theme folder with the new one via FTP.

You'll need to re-enter your theme settings on the theme customizer page.
