You don't need to make another purchase for the update. The latest version of the theme is on your downloads page.

Ok. I purchased a new copy of the latest version of The Daily Press, installed it, activated it, and I deactivated and deleted Option Tree. My home page is still missing the listings of recent posts in the center column: http://sccba-news.com/ I have put the RSS feed into the Option Tree menu, what am I missing? Also, I do not see the dropdowns in Option Tree for the categories, it just lists the Category 1, 2 and so on and I hover over white space until the Drop Down menu appears. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Where do I download the latest version of Daily Press?

Hi there,

Are you using the latest version of The Daily Press? The version number is posted on the "appearance" > "themes" page of you WordPress dashboard (latest is v1.2.3).

If not, please update to the latest version of the theme.

NOTE: If you're using a version of The Daily Press that requires the OptionTree plugin to be installed, before updating be sure to deactivate OptionTree and delete it as it is no longer required (it's now built into the theme). You may need to use the "WordPress Database Reset" plugin to reset your wp-options table as well.

Hi there,

I see ckelley responded to your request for support 3 months ago, but you never replied. Can you provide those details he requested?

Also, please keep in mind that after properly installing the theme, you need to visit the theme options panel and populate those fields as necessary.

What features are not there that are advertised? Why did you spend "hundreds and hundreds of dollars"? The theme should only cost you $45.

Also, going forward, if you need support, please be sure to post in a non-support thread as these "update notice" threads are not monitored by support staff (they are marked as a "not a support question" thread).

Pretty much given up on getting any kind of support. Instead, spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars to learn that features advertised in your theme, were not there. What a shame.

2 can you post a link to your site, if youre getting blank theme its an error somewhere, what version of WordPress are you using do you have any plugins installed?

I am using Daily Press for a news website. Since I updated to WordPress 3.4.2, body_class stopped working with your theme. I was using an older version and updated to the newest theme but am still having the same issue. body_class will not write the classes.

Have you experienced this or know how to fix it? I've switched to other themes and it works. Just doesn't with Daily Press. I haven't tried deactivating all the plugins yet.

I have try without installing Option Tree Plugin but it did not show the setting. And once again I have tried by installing the option tree plugin but it shows the same. I also tried by installing fresh wordpress although it shows the same as previous. Lastly I request you to kindly send me the Daily Press theme of previous version which use option tree plugin version 1.X.X.

Note: Dont forget to send me The Daily Press Theme of previous version which use option tree plugin version 1.X.X. Treat it as urgent. Your support can't fix the problem. You only give the same word.

did you install the OptionTree plugin before activating the theme? Or do you possibly have the OptionTree plugin still installed(if yes deactivate it)

I have purchased The Daily Press Version 1.2.0 but the Theme Options is showing blank. Settings are working with all the options fields but The Theme Options under Appearance is not showing anything.

Please do resolve the issue at the earliest. Or if there is any The Daily Press version using Option Tree 1.X please let me get as I can use it in the mean time.

Version 1.2.0 of The Daily Press adds support for OptionTree version 2.x by having the plugin built into the theme.

What this means is that you no longer need to have OptionTree activated as a separate plugin.
