There have been a lot of significant changes since version 1.0.3. If there are single changes with an update, I post them like I did here. However, if an update affects multiple files, then it's recommended that you use the latest version instead of making upgrade edits.

Regarding your customizations, I can only suggest that you make note of them and reapply after updating. Going forward, it's best to use the child-theme method to customizing themes. This will make updating in the future a snap.

i own the 1.0.3 version, as i can see at the beginning of style.css file...
is the new version so different from that?

i'm really afraid of losing all my customs of this theme making the upgrade...could you give me infos about how to do that in a surely safe way??
and if i never do upgrades, should the theme not work properly in the future?

Hi there,

If you're currently using version 1.1.1 of Eventure, version 1.2.0 only has the above changes. If you're using anything prior to 1.1.1, there are additional changes that were made.

i've made several modifications to your template to fit my needing...
will the update restore previous settings?
i'm not so able with css and php so i've made several attempts to make those modifications, and now i'm not able to recover all of them if the update will restore everything...
will the update only change filter settings so i can only change the lines you gave us below instead of updating everything?

(FYI, look at the date of the updates, guys... If you just downloaded the file from themeforest and started making a site, there's no need to 'update' to a 3 month old file... You're current already.)

I've totally re-written the filter script. I've changed it to work with the category id instead of the name, so the accents and number of words have no impact anymore. The latest version of the theme is available on your downloads page on ThemeForest. Here's what to do to apply the update to version 1.1.1 of Eventure...

Open up "calendar.php" and change the following on line 9 from this...

And change the following on line 41 from this...
