Hi there,

Yes, just install a fresh copy of the theme if you haven't made hard-code edits to the theme files.

The issues you're having shouldn't be caused by the theme, so I'm not certain they would be solved by an update. It sounds like the theme hasn't been properly setup.

If you continue to have an issue after updating, please start a new thread and I'll troubleshoot with you.

I currently have v1.1.1 My slider is not showing up and footer is not working properly. I've updated WP and my plugins. I want to update the AID theme to the newest version. I purchased the theme with Themeforest. To update, do I go to themeforest and download it again then install it? By installing the newest version will it fix my problems? Thanks

Hi there,

I must have incorrectly updated the version number somewhere. The version on ThemeForest is the most recent version, so whatever you download from there is the most up-to-date copy.

Regarding upgrading, if you haven't made any edits to the theme files, you can just replace the files mentioned above. It will have no impact on your WordPress admin settings.

Hi, I have just downloaded this again having originally purchased and been using v1.1.1

The download from Themeforest is v1.2.1 whereas your post suggests 1.2.2 is the latest. Where can I find the latest update?

Also, can you explain how to upgrade versions? Do I just copy these files and overwrite my existing ones? Does this keep all my current settings?

Added cookie expiration time for alert box in the theme options panel. Files affected are:

  1. scripts.js
  2. footer.js
  3. style.css
  4. theme-options.php
