Hi there,

Thanks for checking that.

Since this is a plugin-related issue, unfortunately I can't provide much help troubleshooting the issue as I have no developer knowledge of the plugin.

My best suggestion is to either contact the plugin developer for suggestions or to just stick with the plugins that do work.

Hope you understand.

Best,

Chris

Hi. When I put another widget (Calendar of Events), it shows in the home widget. I even deactivated the other plugins and it did not work as well. When I use 'my Calendar' plugin, it works well. I'm not sure if I can limit the number of events to appear on the widget http://www.statehousegirls.ac.ke.

That's really strange. I don't see anything in the theme template files that would prevent the widgets from displaying (the sidebar is using standard WordPress markup to pull in those widgets).

Are you using any type of site caching system? If so, try clearing that cache and let me know.

Have you tried deactivating any plugins you have installed?

If none of that helps, please try adding a standard widget to the "Home Page Widgets" section and I'll take a look with that widget active.

Let me know when you have that active or if any of my suggestions helped.

Best,

Chris

I have already added the standard widgets. I can not display though. I installed the calendar plugin from this site http://www.kieranoshea.com/calendar

Hi there,

Have you tried adding standard widgets? Try that to see if you can't display any widgets at all or if it's just this plugin you're using.

Let me know.

Best,

Hi. I have installed a calendar plugin, just the normal one from the wordpress.org site and installed. However, after adding the widget in the home page widget area, it is not appearing. What could be the issue? http://www.statehousegirls.ac.ke. Could there be a search facility on the forum since I wanted to check if someone else had the issue and try to get a solution from there?
